Austin Chamber: Space Technology & Exploration Next Step In Jobs, Economy

The Austin Chamber of Commerce is targeting the space technology & exploration industry, as one of the keys to future economic development, the group said Wednesday. According to the group, and its Opportunity Austin economic development effort, it believes that the demand for growth in the space exploration and technology market can make the greater Austin region a player in the commercial space exploration market. As part of the push, the chamber also pointed to a new, Master's degree in Space Entrepreneurship which is being offered at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin starting in May.
