Mozido Buys Chinese Mobile Payment Company PayEase

Austin-based Mozido, the developer of mobile payments and related software, announced Tuesday that it has acquired PayEase Corp., a Chinese provider of online and mobile payment services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Mozido acquired PayEase from CapInfo Company Ltd. Mozido said the buy will help it enable mobile payments processing for foreign merchants looking to expand in China. PayEase is headquartered in Beijing.
