Corepoint Health Gets Private Equity Investment
Frisco, Texas-based Corepoint Health, a developer of information techogy software used by hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and others in the healthcare industry exchange data, has scored a private equity funding from Audax Group. Financial details of the investment were not announced. Corepoint said it will use the funding to grow the company, for strategic acquisitions, and support of its customers. Corepoint targets its data integration and exchange software at hospitals, radiology centers, laboratories, and clinics. The company is led by Phil Guy. The companies said that Corepoint was advised by Houlihan Lokey in the deal, with Ropes & Gray LLP advising Audax Group. Financing behind the deal came from CapitalSource and Silicon Valley Bank.
