Vapor IO Takes On Data Center Hardware
Austin-based Vapor IO, a developer of data center hardware aimed at the modular data center space, said Tuesday that it has emerged from stealth mode. The startup, which is led by OpenStack co-founder Cole Crawford, said it is developing products aimed at significantly lowering the costs of building and running data centers. The company's first products fit into the Open Compute Project.
