Favor Finds $13M In Funding

Austin-based Favor, the delivery startup founded by Ben Doherty and Zac Maurais, said today that it has raised $13M in a Series A funding. According to Favor, the funding was led by S3 Ventures, and also included Silverton Partners, Tim Draper, and other angels. Favor said it has now completed over 300,000 deliveries in the past year, using its network of over a 1,000 "runners" delivering things for others--all driven by a mobile app. The company said it now offers its services in Austin, Boston, Houston, and Dallas, and plans to expand into San Antonio and San Diego in the coming months.
