Favor Acquired By H-E-B

Austin-based Favor Delivery, which provides an on-demand, grocery- and product-delivery service across Texas, has been acquired H-E-B, H-E-B said on Thursday. Financialdetails of the acquisition were not announced. According to H-E-B, Favor Delivery will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Favor was led by CEO Jag Bath, and had been venture backed by S3 Ventures. H-E-B said that Favor provides its services in 50 cities across Texas; Favor had withdrawn from the national market in early 2017.
