CyrusOne Acquires Cervalis For $400M
Dallas-based CyrusOne said this morning that it has agreed to acquired Cervalis, the owner and operator of data centers in the New York metropolitan area. CyrusOne said it will acquired Cervalis for approximately $400M, in a deal which will add four data center facilities and two work area recovery facilities in New York. CyrusOne said the deal will bring it to a total of 31 data centers across 12 distinct markets. CyrusOne said that Cervalis had revenues of nearly $70M in 2014, and that the deal adds more than 500,000 gross square feet of space to its data center space.
