LawnStarter Raises $6M

Austin-based on-demand lawn care startup LawnStarter has raised $6M in a Series A funding, according to the company. the startup, which is led by Steve Corcoran, said the funding round was led by Binary Capital. The company had raised a $1M seed funding round back in January. LawnStarter, like other on-demand marketplaces, lets users request a quote on lawn care from providers who have been vetted by the company, providing upfront pricing and lots of scheduling and payment tools for those lawn care providers.
