Austin, San Antonio, and Houston Tops In Startup Activity

Texas took three positions in the top ten metropolitan areas for startup activity, according to a report released last week by the Kauffman Foundation. The annual Kauffman Foundation Report ranked Austin number one in the nation for startup activity, with Houston ranked at number eight, and San Antonio at number ten in the nation with the most activity in 2015. Austin was also ranked the highest in the nation for the rate of new entrepreneurs, seeing around 550 new entrepreneurs per month on average.
