Shipt Launches On-Demand Grocery Delivery In San Antonio From H.E.B.

On-demand, app-driven grocery delivery provider Shipt said today that it is launching in San Antonio on the 25th, and plans to expand to Houston, Austin, and Dallas later this year. The startup--based in Alabama--said it has partnered with H.E.B. for its initial launch in San Antonio. Shipt said it will provide grocery delivery from H.E.B. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and also will provide products from Central Market, which is also owned by H.E.B. Shipt is a competitor to Instacart, which is also providing on-demand delivery from H.E.B across Texas.
