H-E-B Plans Self Driving Delivery Test In San Antonio

San Antonio-based H-E-B is planning to launch a new, grocery delivery service, using self-driving vehicles, the company announced this week. The pilot program, announced on Wednesday, will offer up limited deliveries in San Antonio, near Olmos Park. According to H-E-B, the autonomous vehicle test includes one van, which was develops by autonomous vehicle developer Udelv. H-E-B's self-driving, autonomous delivery vehicle joins a number of other self-driving vehicle efforts in Texas, including autonomous pizza delivery in Houston, self driving cars in Arlington, and robotic delivery of appliances on the I-10.
