CognitiveScale Adds Rechan to Board

Austin-based CognitiveScale, which is developing cloud-based enterprise analytics software, said this week that it has added technology veteran Les Rechan to its board. Rechan also serves on the boards of Pros Holdings and Halogen Software. Rechan was most recently General Manager, Business Analytics for IBM's Software Group. Rechan joined IBM via the $5 billion, 2008 acquisition of Cognos by IBM, when he was COO of Cognos.
