SoftNAS Scores $5M In Angel Funding

Houston-based SoftNAS, a developer of cloud-based, network attached storage services, announced a $5M angel funding round this morning, which it says brings its total raised to $6.4M. SoftNAS did not name the angels in the round, but did say all of those angels are based here in Texas. SoftNAS said it will use the new funds for growth. SoftNAS is led by Rick Braddy, and lets businesses store their files in the cloud, through virtual, network attached storage. The company's service connects customer data into the Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and VMware vSphere and VMware's vCloud Air public cloud. More information »
