SoftNAS Secures Storage Patent
Houston-based SoftNAS, which developer network attached storage (NAS) storage products, has received a patent covering the synchronization and replication technology behind its storage product. The patent, No. 9,378,262 B2, was granted on June 28th to Rick Gene Braddy, and had been originally filed on December 5, 2014. Braddy is the CEO, CTO, and Founder of SoftNAS. SoftNAS utilized Polsinelli PC for the patent filing. SoftNAS said the patent covers the technology behind its SnapReplicate feature in its SoftNAS Cloud product.
