Teladoc Gets Certification

Lewisville, Texas-based telehealth provider Teladoc said this morning that it has received recertification of the company from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA is a nonprofit organization which offers certification of the management and performance of health care organizations. Teladoc said it is the only telehealth company to achieve certification from the NCQA. Teladoc says it now has more than 675 physicians, serving more than 11 million members.
