WP Engine Launches Migration Tool

Austin-based Wordpress hosting provider WP Engine is hoping to make it easier for WordPress blog and website owners to migrate their installations to the company's managed services, with a new tool. According to WP Engine, it has launched the WP Engine Automated Migration solution, a tool which automatically migrates WordPress websites to its managed hosting platform. The new tool works as a plugin into existing WordPress sites, and according to the company can complete a migration in as little ass 30 minutes. WP Engine is backed by North Bridge Growth Equity and Silverton Partners, and just raised $23M more in funding in March.
