Xplore Technologies Deploys In Denmark

Austin-based rugged tablet manufacturer Xplore Technologies says it has scored a $1.5M deployment in Denmark, with the Danish Ambulance Service. Xplore said the order for almost 600 of its rugged tablet PCs is part of an effort to capture patient data on ambulances, and transmit that to hospitals ahead of arrival. Xplore said blood pressure, heart rate, temperature and oxygen saturation, along with other patient information, is being sent to hospitals using its rugged hardware.
