AT&T Turns To Virtual Reality Goggles For Safe Driving Campaign
Dallas-based AT&T said Friday that it is turning to virtual reality, to hopefully spread the message about how dangerous texting can really be while driving. AT&T says it has turned to Samsung, Bose, and Google, and is touring the country with a virtual reality setup featuring Samsung's Gear VR headset, Samsung's Galaxy Note 4, Bose noise cancelling headphones, plus free Google Cardboard viewers, as a part of its the It Can Wait campaign. That campaign looks to educate drivers on the dire consequences of taking their attention of the road. Texting while driving has been shown to be as bad as driving drunk.
