Alert Logic Rolls Out New Service For AWS

Houston-based security software developer Alert Logic said today that it has launched a new, cloud-based vulnerability and configuration management product aimed at Amazon Web Services. Alert Logic said its new Alert Logic Cloud Insight product integrates with the native security features of AWS, and provides a view of potential host and application level vulnerabilities for customers deploying on the AWS Cloud. Pricing on the new product was not announced. Alert Logic's tool helps administrators see potentiall vulnerabilities in their deploys, and suggests remediation for those issues.
