NEOS GeoSolutions Buys Business From ION

Houston-based NEOS GeoSolutions, a provider of services to the energy business, said it has acquired a unit of ION Geophysical Corporation, which provides land seismic data processing. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. NEOS said it paid cash and other consideration for ION's Denver business, which helps expand its services to include seismic data processing and imaging.
