GameStop Adds Android Pay Support
Grapevine, Texas-based videogame retailer GameStop said Thursday that it has started accepting Android Pay for purchases at its U.S. stores. GameStop said it has completed a nationwide rollout to all of its 4,200 U.S. stores of the near-field-communications (NFC) payment technology. Android Pay lets users link their credit or debit cards to their device, which makes it easier to present payment at participating retailers. GameStop also said it will be rolling out support for Android Pay on its Spring Mobile brand later this year.
