Xplore Technologies Gets $1.1M More In Rugged Tablet Orders

Austin-based rugged tablet computer manufacturer Xplore Technologies reports this morning that it has received $1.1 million in follow up orders for it rugged Bobcat Windows tablets and docs. The name of the customer was not announced, however, the company said the order was a follow up from a major, U.S. telecommunications provider. The $1.1M order comes on top of an earlier, $9M purchase reported by the companin April. Xplore says its customer is using its tablets in its construction and engineering divisions.
