Civitas Learning Acquires College Scheduler

Austin-based Civitas Learning said Wednesday that it has acquired College Scheduler, a developer of schedule planning software for the higher education market. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. College Scheduler's software helps students plan out the classes needed for their degree, something the companies said is still done via pen-and-paper at many schools. Civitas Learning said it will incorporate College Scheduler's software into its Student Insights Platform. College Scheduler was based in Chico, California.
