Trintech Appoints New CEO

Dallas-based finance software developer Trintech has named Teresa Mackintosh as its new CEO, replacing retiring executive Paul Byrne. According to Trintech, Mackintosh is a veteran of the tax and accounting software market, having most recently been in charge of the U.S. Tax and Accounting software business for Wolters Kulwer; she also has served at Thomson Reuters. Trintech is backed by private equity investor Vista Equity Partners, which took a stake in the company last year.
