Perk.com Completes Acquisition Of Viggle

Austin-based Perk.com said today that it has completed its acquisition of a number of assets from Viggle, the app developer which had focused on incentives and rewards for viewing content via an app. The deal-which had been announced in December--included the Viggle mobile app and tablet application, patents and intellectual property, brand and advertiser relationships, and a direct sales force. Perk.com said it adds offices in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles as a result of the transaction. The deal was worth approximately $4.7M in stock.
