Continuum Analytics Deploys On Hadoop

Austin-based Continuum Analytics has deployed the Anaconda open source analytics software on Hadoop, the company said today, which it says makes the machine learning technology run 10X to 100X faster. Continuum Analytics said it will both provide Python and R packages for Hadoop clusters, as well as direct interaction with HDFS and YARN. Continuum Analytics is backed by General Catalyst and BuildGroup.
