Uber Launches Food Delivery Service In Houston: Austin, Dallas Next

Uber has launched a new restaurant delivery service, UberEATS today in Houston, and says it plans to expand to both Austin and Dallas next, as it expands the scope of its services. Uber--which had been experimenting with tying food delivery to its existing app--said it has launched a new, separate and standalone app, UberEATS, on both iOS and Android, to let users order food seven days a week and both day and night. The service taps into Uber's existing pool of drivers for deliveries.
