Dell, EMC To Shift Branding After Acquisition

Round Rock-based Dell and enterprise storage developer EMC unveiled their new branding plans, as the two close their merger. According to the two, they will rename their combined company Dell Technologies, and use the name Dell EMC for their Enterprise business, and Dell for client solutions. The combined business will include all of the infrastructure and enterprise products of Dlel and EMC, plus Dell's PC business, and such companies as VMware, SecureWorks, Pivotal, Virtustream and RSA.
