Blue Star Sports Buys Goalline, As Its Acquisition Roll Continues
Dallas-based Blue Star Sports, the sports software developer backed by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, has made its third acquisition in less than 45 days, saying yesterday that it has acquired Goalline. Goalline provides sports technology to sporting associations and organizations. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Blue Star Sports, which is led by Rob Wechsler, has been on an acquisition tear, having acquired two other, sports software companies--Bonzi and Pointstreak Sports Technologies--only days after announcing its funding round. The company's other investors, aside from Jones, are Bain Capital Worldpay and Providence Equity.
