Blue Star Sports Buys SDI Camps & Races
Dallas--based Blue Star Sports, the youth sports management software developer led by Rob Wechsler, has acquired SDI Camps & Races, the developer of a sports camp and online registration management software product. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. SDI Camps & Races is the fifth acquisition of a company by Blue Star Sports, which has had a ravenous appetite for other sports software companies since it was first launched. Blue Star Sports said that SDI manages college camp programs at Duke, Texas Tech, South Carolina, Virginia, Purdue, Oklahoma, Kansas, Tennessee, Mississippi State and elsewhere.
