ACTIVE Network Buys JumpForward For NCAA Recruiting Tools

Dallas-based ACTIVE Network has acquired JumpForward, a developer of software and technology used for managing NCAA recruiting, compliance, and business office management, the two said on Tuesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. According to ACTIVE, it will use the acquisition to help increase its offerings for universities and colleges. ACTIVE said its software provides collegiate coaches, athletic directors, department administrators and compliance staff with everything from sports camp registration, to marketing tools, budgeting, and inventory management. The companies said that JumpForward is used by 55 percent of Division I collegiate sports programs.
