Hotels.com: Travelers Like Traveling With Their Phone More Than Their Loved Ones
Dallas-based Hotels.com has just released a study of mobile travelers, looking into their habits, and uncovered a few amusing tidbits. According to Hotels.com, its study found that twice as many people prefer to travel with their mobile device than their loved ones; that 10 percent of the respondents had actually booked a hotel while on the toilet; and about a quarter of the poll takers booking their hotel rooms while in bed. The numbers came from a poll by One Poll, commissioned by Hotels.com, which polled 9,200 adults from 31 countries.
