ShippingEasy Acquired By Stamps.com For $55M

Austin-based shipping software developer ShippingEasy has been acquired by Stamps.com, in a deal worth $55M in cash, the two said this week. ShippingEasy develops a web-based, multi-carrier shipping software product that helps e-commerce providers process, fulfill, and ship their products. ShippingEasy is led by Katie May, who became CEO of ShippingEasy in 2012 and moved its headquarters to Austin.
