KBR Completes $570M Acquisition of Wyle

Houston-based engineering services firm KBR announced this morning that it has completed its acquisition of government services provider Wyle. The deal was worth $570M, after adjustments for $30M in acquired tax benefits. KBR said that Wyle will start operating under the new brand, KBRwyle. KBRwyle will provide research and development, testing, engineering, logistics, deployed operations, and other services to the Federal Government. KBR said the new, combined firm now will has more than 25,800 employees.
