BigCommerce Aims At Magento, Others With Free Migration Offer

Austin-based e-commerce software provider BigCommerce is hoping to pry away customers from competitor Magento and others, with a new offer to help migrate customers for free to its platform. BigCommerce said today that it will offer up to six months of free service, plus specialized support, for qualifying brands who want to migrate to its BigCommerce Enterprise platform from its competitors. BigCommerce said the support will help many organizations deal with the hassles of migrating from legacy and custom-build e-commerce platforms.
