Alafair Biosciences Gets $2.0M
Austin-based Alafair Biosciences, a developer of medical devices used to treat tendon injuries, has raised $2M in a funding, the company said this week. The funding was led by ATP Fund, and also included UT Horizon Fund and other existing and new investors. The company says it has now raised $5.9M in total. Alafair Biosciences' lead product is the VersaWrap Tendon Protector, used to protect tendon injuries where there has been no tendon tissue loss. The startup is led by Daniel Peterson, MD, who both serves as Chairman and CEO. More information »
