SolarCity Expands In Austin, In Hiring, Installation Push

Solar power financing and installation provider SolarCity--which is in the process of being acquired by Telsa Motors--said today that it has launched into the Austin market, and is looking to set up a new operations in the city. SolarCity said the expansion in Austin is part of an expansion of its solar loan program, which it says allows homeowners to go solar for as little as $50 per month. As part of the expansion to Austin, SolarCity said it is actively hiring for positions in sales, installation, and related fields.
