CyrusOne Expands In Illinois

Dallas-based colocation provider CyrusOne is in a big expansion in Illinois, saying this morning that it is acquiring 23 acres in Aurora, Illinois, for a planned ata center. According to CyrusOne, the new land is planned for development over the next several years, and will leverage an existing data center it has in Aurora which is immediately adjacent to the property. Financial details of the land acquisition were not announced. CyrusOne purchased its existing data center in Aurora from CME Group in April.
