Caringo Gets $8.8M More
Austin-based Caringo, which develops object storage software, said this morning that it has raised $8.8M in a new venture funding round. The Series B funding brings the company's total raised to $33M. Caringo, which is led by Jonathan Ring, said it will use the funding for development, marketing, and distribution of its product. The investment came from existing investors New Science Ventures and Advantage Capital. Caringo's object storage software is used by companies for data migration and long term storage.
