Message.io Gets $2.5M For Bot Syndication, Partners With Microsoft
Austin-based Message.io, a developer of tools to help bot developers connect their bots into a larger population of messaging platforms, has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round, the company said Thursday. The funding was led by Khosla Ventures and Eniac Ventures, and also included Goldcrest Capital, Two Sigma, Y Combinator, Capital Factory, Social Leverage plus angels Scott Banister, Kevin Moore, Louis Beryl, Elies Campo, Sandy Cass, Vinny Lingham and Stuart Levinson. Message.io announced the funding, and a partnership with Microsoft to help developers port their bots to Microsoft Teams. Tom Hadfield is the CEO of Message.io.
