Texas Companies Make Fast 500 Tech Company Ranking

A number of Texas companies have made the annual Deloitte Technology Fast 500, the annual ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in the United States by accounting firm Deloitte. According to the firm, the highest ranked firm in Texas was #8, Lexicon Pharmaceuticals. The Woodlands, Texas company reported a 11,839% five year growth rate, far exceeding the other Texas companies on the list. Other companies within the 500 included: #125 AcademicWorks (Austin, 690%); #165 Phunware (Austin, 521%); #166 OrthoAccel Technologies (Bellaire, 510%); #170 symplr (Houston, 503%); #212 Simpli.fi (Fort Worth, 379%); #249 Digital Turbine (Austin, 291%); #348 Upland Software (Austin, 270%); #356 Applied Optoelectronics (Sugar Land, 199%); #378 Kimbia (Austin, 181%); #389 Cirrus Logic (Austin, 174%); #392 Alert Logic (Houston, 172%); #402 Q2 Holdings (Austin, 165%); #448 Sailpoint (Austin, 140%), and #492 Impiger Technologies (Richardson, 124%).
