CyrusOne Ties With Data Canopy For Disaster Recovery Deal

Dallas-based colocation and data center operator CyrusOne says it is powering the disaster recovery efforts for a $2 billion insurance client, as part of an agreement with managed solutions provider Data Canopy. The name of that big insurer was not announced. The two said they have worked together on a data center space design to power that insurer's disaster recovery implementation. The are using CyrusOne's facilities in Austin for the implementation, which ties back to Data Canopy's facility in Virginia.
