Sync1 Systems Finds $4M For Digital Banking Software
Austin-based Sync1 Systems has raised $4M in a combination of private equity and debt, according to the company, to advance its digital banking and loan original software and technology. Source of the funding was not announced. The company said that, as part of the funding, it has merged with fellow Austin company FI-Mobile, a provider of mobile banking solutions. Sync1 Systems was founded by Steve Maloney, Bruce Callen and Dan Chaney, who previously founded credit union lending technology developer Teres Solutions. Teres was acquired by CRIF in 2008.
