Continuum Analytics Names New CEO

Austin-based open data analysis software developer Continuum Analytics--the company that develops the Anaconda software package--said this morning that it has named Scott Collison as its new CEO. Collison was previously Vice President of Hybrid Platform at VMware, and also served as Vice President of Platform GO To Market as Salesforce.com. He also has served at Signio, Microsoft, SourceForge, and Geeknet. Collison also joins Continuum Analytics' board. Founder and former CEO Travis Oliphant becomes Chief Data Scientist at the company, and remains on the board.
