Texas Venture Labs Names Spring Class
Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs, the startup accelerator which is part of UT Austin's McCombs School of Business, announced its Spring 2017 class last week, saying it has added 14 companies to its class. Those companies kick off their experience today, with a demo day on May 4th. The startups in the class include: The half Helen Foundation (children's vision and hearing); Cutting Edeg Gamer (graphics card leasing for gamers); Smarter Sorting (chemical waste reuse); Novana Pharmaceuticals (non-opioid pain medicine); HomePlate (peanut butter); Prosodio (apps to improve reading skills); Earthly Labs (eco friendly products); VIPatient (telehealth); eyeQ (shopping personalization); Discover Lola (women's fashion membership); Beam Energy Group (solar energy procurement) myRollCall (custodial banking for nonprofits); CoachTube (online sports education marketplace); and ZyncUp (student engagement).
