SailPoint: $130M In Revenues In 2016, 30 Percent Revenue Growth

Austin-based SailPoint announced today that it saw more than $130M in revenues in 2016, and saw its 13th consecutive quarter of profitability, in an unusual announcement for a privately held firm. The company--which reportedly is seeking an IPO this year--said it saw more than a 30 percent year-over-year revenue growth increase between 2016 and 2015. The company says it now has more than 750 customers globally. SailPoint is led by CEO Mark McClain. Private companies rarely, if ever, announce financial results, unless they are seeking an IPO or acquisition.
