Upland Software Adds Facebook Messenger Support

Austin-based Upland Software, which develops cloud-based enterprise work management software, said it has tied its mobile messaging capabilities into Facebook Messenger. Upland said the integration allows its customers to deliver automated campaigns via Facebook Messenger and SMS. The link comes thanks to a partnership with Twilio, which offers up a cloud telephony API. Upland's Mobile Commons mobile CRM and messaging software is aimed at governments, non-profits, healthcare providers and commercial enterprises, allowing them to launch automated and personalized SMS campaigns.
