Kinnser Software Acquired By Mediware

Austin-based Kinnser Software, which develops software to manage scheduling, billing, electronic visit verification, day-to-day operations, and patient referrals for the home health and hospice market, has been acquired by Mediware Information Systems. Financial details of the buy were not disclosed. The deal is being funded by TPG Capital, which acquired Mediware in February. Kinnser Software was owned by private equity investor Insight Venture Partners. Kinnser was founded in 2003 by CEO Chris Hester.
