Mavenir Launches Cloud Communications Platform

Richardson, Texas-based Mavenir announced this morning that it has deployed a new, cloud communications platform, called Multi-ID. According to Mavenir, the new platform decouples phone numbers from specific devices, and lets users can send and receive voice, video and messaging across multiple devices using a single number, including messages, call logs and voicemail synchronization, and the ability to assign multiple numbers to a single device. Mavenir said it has deployed its platform at an un-named, Tier-1 operator.
