Newgistics Launches New Service To Handle E-Commerce Returns

Austin-based Newgistics, a provider of end-to-end e-commerce services to retailers and brands, has launched a new product to handle the headache of e-commerce returns. According to Newgistics, its new SmartLabel+ product will help provide greater efficiency and cost savings for dealing with e-commerce returns. The new service uses Newgistics' network of facilities to process and getting products back into active stock. Newgistics said its service will follow a retailer or brands' process for returns, including donating, destroying or recycling a product, or cleaning, folding, bagging and tagging those products--rather than sending those returns all the way back to a retailer. Pricing on the new service was not announced. Newgistics is led by President and CEO Todd Everett.
